The celebrity Norwood Family, including Brandy, Ray J, Sonja and Willie Norwood, have launched a musical storybook app to share their love of music and song. Fam Bam: Got To Have Music 1.4 is now available in the iTunes App Store and is specially-priced at $1.99 USD for the month of February in honor of African American History Month.
The characters in the Fam Bam storybook app are based on the actual Norwood family, aged down for a younger kid audience: 7 year-old RJ, 9 year-old Bandy, 37 year-old Mom, 38 year-old Dad and the family dog, a teacup terrier named Brad. In the storyline, each of the characters perform in the style of their favorite genre of music, including inspirational music (gospel), jazz, R&B, hip hop and opera. Trouble starts when they disagree over whose music is better.

To create the app, the Norwood Family partnered with app developer See Here Studios, the creator of the top-ranked iPad book The Wrong SIde of the Bed 3D. The interactive storybook also introduces a new artistic talent, Amir Tribble, as Brad, the family dog and narrator of the story.
The Fam Bam storybook app is the latest venture by one of entertainment’s most popular families. It is the first family project since their hit reality show, Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business completed its successful run on VH1. This new Norwood Family project is being launched as Brandy enjoys the chart success of her new album, Two Eleven, and as Ray J stars in the new sitcom The Rickey Smiley Show, a top rated program on TV One.
